The Eramosa Karst Conservation Area was opened to the public in the summer of 2008, after the caves in this area had been closed for several years while the Hamilton Conservation Authority acquired the land. Nina Muller, one of the TCG members involved in the original exploration of the caves in this area, led the first TCG trip back to Nexus Cave after the re-opening.
